Hassan Wood & Plywood was established in the year 1999 in the Industrial growth centre of Hassan. The plant was setup to manufacture superior quality and eco-friendly plywood and over the years has developed the capability of manufacturing premium quality Block boards, Flush doors and other wood allied products such as flexi ply, decorative veneers, Film face plywood, etc under the brand AB.
The intent of setting up the plant at Hassan Industrial growth centre was due to the abundant availability of plantation timber from the coffee and cardamom growing areas of Hassan, Chickmaglur and Coorg districts of Karnataka. The fact that we use plantation timber speaks out our concern for the environment and farmers.
The plant was initially set up in an area of 2 acres and over the years has grown to an area of 6 acres with sufficient infrastructure to produce premium quality products.
Quality Standards
All our products are manufactured using mainly good quality plantation species such as Silver Oak (Grevillea robusta), Belangi (Acrocarpus fraxinifolius), Maesopsis emini, Neem (Melia dubia), Eucalyptus, Acacia, etc
After every stage of production process strict quality measures are taken to ensure high quality of our products. The products are manufactured with personal attention by the production supervisors and quality inspectors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ours is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. We are equipped with our own R&D facility and our products manufactured with state -of-the-art manufacturing facility are approved by the Bureau of Indian standards.
